Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of wordofmouth.club and to anything you buy from us. By placing an order you're agreeing to them.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Word of Mouth, 1302/499 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne VIC 3004, Australia. You can reach us at accounts@wordofmouth.club.

Orders and pricing

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch your order, and we may decline an order for any reasonable cause, including if an item is out of stock, if we can't verify your payment or delivery details, or if we believe an order is fraudulent. If we decline, we'll refund anything you've paid.

Prices are shown in Australian dollars unless you've selected another currency, in which case the conversion is handled at checkout. We do our best to keep prices and product information accurate, but if we discover a pricing or description error affecting your order we'll contact you before dispatching it and you can confirm or cancel.

Shipping and risk

We dispatch from Melbourne within one business day. Delivery timeframes after that are the carrier's, not ours, and we can't guarantee them. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, contact us and we'll sort it out.

Returns

Our 30-day money-back guarantee and our approach to faulty or incorrect items are set out in our Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Subscriptions

If you take out a subscription, you're authorising us to charge your payment method on the recurring schedule you selected until you cancel. You can pause, skip or cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancelling takes effect on future orders, not ones already dispatched. If we change subscription pricing, we'll tell you before it applies to you.

Our products, and what we don't claim

Our products are cosmetics, not medicines. Nothing on this site is medical or dental advice, and nothing we say is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. If you have a dental or health concern, please speak to your dentist or doctor.

Please read the label and ingredient list before use, and stop using a product if you have a reaction to it. Our whitening toothpaste is not formulated for sensitive teeth. If you have tooth sensitivity, we'd rather tell you that up front than sell you something that doesn't suit you.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your login details to yourself and let us know if you think someone else has access to it. You're responsible for activity that happens through your account.

Using this site

Everything on this site (text, photography, the Word of Mouth name and logo, product imagery and page design) belongs to us or is used with permission. You're welcome to share and link to it. You can't copy it for your own commercial use, resell our products as an authorised retailer without our written agreement, or scrape the site.

Customer reviews and photographs on this site belong to the people who created them and are published with their permission. If you send us a photo or review, you're giving us permission to publish it in connection with our products, and you can ask us to take it down.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under that law.

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for anything connected with these terms or a product is limited to replacing the goods or refunding what you paid for them, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
