The toothpaste

What makes it different from other whitening toothpaste?

Two things. It whitens with PAP rather than peroxide, and it's mint-free and stimulant-free. Most whitening toothpaste is built around mint, which is a stimulant. Fine at 7am, less ideal last thing at night. Ours is a soft vanilla instead, so it works at either end of the day.

How does the whitening actually work?

The whitening active is PAP (phthalimidoperoxycaproic acid). It's a peroxide-free approach to lifting surface stains. We've written it up properly in PAP vs Peroxide if you want the detail.

How long before I notice anything?

Whitening is gradual, and how quickly you notice a change depends on your teeth and what's staining them. Use it as your normal toothpaste, twice a day, and give it a fair run. We won't promise you a result by a particular date. Anyone who does is guessing.

Is it fluoride-free?

Yes. Instead of fluoride it uses 5% nano-hydroxyapatite, which remineralises enamel. That's a separate job from the whitening: PAP lifts stains, nano-hydroxyapatite looks after the enamel. More on that in Nano-Hydroxyapatite & Enamel.

Why no mint?

Because mint is a stimulant, and because we think the category defaulted to it without ever really asking. The full argument is in Why We Made a Mint-Free Whitening Toothpaste.

What does it taste like?

Soft vanilla. Not sweet, not dessert-like. If you've only ever used mint toothpaste it takes a couple of brushes to recalibrate, and then most people don't want to go back.

Is it suitable for sensitive teeth?

No, and we'd rather say so plainly than have you find out after buying. The formula isn't designed for tooth sensitivity. If you have sensitive teeth, this isn't the right toothpaste for you, and if you've already ordered, our 30-day guarantee covers you.

What's in it?

The actives are PAP for whitening and 5% nano-hydroxyapatite for enamel. Alongside those it carries magnesium, valerian root, passionflower and chamomile, and a vanilla flavour. The full ingredient list is on the tube and on the product page. Worth a read if you have allergies.

Can I use it every day?

Yes. It's your everyday toothpaste, morning and night, not a weekly treatment.

What does shipping cost?

Nothing. Standard shipping is free, Australia wide, on every order. If you want it faster, express is $15.

How quickly do you dispatch?

Within one business day, from Melbourne. How long it takes from there is up to the carrier.

Where do you ship?

Australia only. We don't ship internationally at the moment.

Can I change or cancel an order?

Email us as soon as you can. We dispatch within a business day, so if you catch us quickly we can usually stop it. Once it's with the carrier we can't recall it. The 30-day guarantee still covers you once it lands.

Subscriptions

How does the subscription work?

You choose how often you want a top-up and it arrives on that schedule, with free shipping. It's there so you don't run out, not to lock you in.

Can I skip or cancel?

Any time, from your account or by emailing us. No phone call, no retention script.

Returns and the guarantee

What is the 30-day money-back guarantee?

If you're not happy, email us within 30 days of receiving your order and we'll refund you once everything from the order is back with us.

Do I have to send the tube back?

Yes. To get a refund, everything from the order needs to come back to us, including any tube you've opened, and the Blue Light Blockers or Essentials Case if they came with your order. Return postage is on you. Full detail in our Returns Policy.

Does the guarantee cover a tube I've used?

Yes. You can't judge a toothpaste without brushing with it, you just need to send it back with the rest of the order to get your refund.

Yes. They're collected through Judge.me from verified orders. Currently 4.9 stars across 44 reviews. We don't write them, buy them, or incentivise them.

Is it made in Australia?

We're an Australian brand, based in Melbourne, and we ship from here.
